Our organization is unique among the 50 states. From grassroots beginnings we have become one of Oregon’s respected independent professional organizations specializing in advocacy for the early childhood care and education and accountability. We are in a position to make a real difference for young children,

We provide child care news, resources and updates via our website; all members are invited to like us and join us on Facebook where we often post other updates and information concerning early childhood educators.

The membership of OAELP is represented on Boards and Committees dealing with all aspects of early learning in the state of Oregon. As new areas occur for the welfare and education of young children we will be represented or offer to volunteer our expertise as the field of childcare progresses.

OAELP continues to be the local and statewide voice on a wide range of statewide committees where policies and decisions are made which impact the child care community. As members you are encouraged to join the advocacy efforts on local, state, and national issues.
